This secluded Blackrock period home was renovated and extended to suit a family with young children with a very contemporary open plan, a light filled extension, all of which address a beautiful landscaped south facing garden. New period windows  were designed for the existing retained element of the period house, breathable insulation, new heating and electrics, and new high quality finishes throughout.

Brazil Associates worked closely with Studio Brazil Interiors to retain the elegance
of the period rooms and integrate them seamlessly with the contemporary extension. The central roof light and  glazed link between the existing and the new was clad with a textured brick wall of muted tones which was complimented by natural oak flooring , treated oak bespoke furniture, secret doors and panelling throughout. Carefully chosen lighting, colours and mirrors enhance the natural elegance of
the rooms.
