GEORGIAN TOWNHOUSE
A refined Georgian townhouse is reimagined here through a language of restraint, texture and finely judged contrast. The original architecture retains its sense of order and proportion, while contemporary interventions are handled with quiet confidence, allowing old and new to sit in deliberate balance rather than overt opposition.
Inside, the project is defined by its joinery. Cabinetry is treated architecturally: panelled, moulded and deeply integrated into the fabric of each room. In the kitchen, bespoke painted units, a substantial island and warm metal accents create an interior that feels both classical and current, with every elevation composed for rhythm, symmetry and calm.
What gives the house its editorial quality is the sequencing of spaces and the consistency of detail. Arched openings, glazed partitions, tailored storage and richly resolved secondary rooms lend the interiors a sense of narrative and depth. The result is a townhouse that feels polished yet intimate, where craftsmanship, materiality and proportion do the real decorative work.
